Literature Text

I am a child.
Unsure, yet unafraid.
Innocent, and carefree.
Surrounded by those who love me,
I have the luxury of taking things for granted.
I can afford to waste things like time,
I get what I need, and everything I want.
I am me, myself entirely, and I don't care what people say to it,
Because I am not aware.
I am ignorant, but I am proud.
I live in a world of princesses and knights,
Pirates and ogres.
I am me.
I am perfect.
I am a child.
Part One Of Two.

Not sure what to say about the ending.

Enjoy?

Got a mistake at 'I get have' I think it's 'I get to have'

I will say I think you're viewing both parts in the eyes of an adult, 'Because I am not aware' and 'I am ignorant which I take pride in' sort of contradicts itself, since often a child is ignorant yet completely oblivious to this.

But I do love 'I am me, myself entirely' because I know that can change drastically once the child grows up a bit, once the opinions of other people starts to matter to them.

Perhaps consider a 3rd part, I'd like to read 'I am a Teenager' :D

Sorry if I sound harsh, everything I've said is to be helpful D:

It's an insightful poem and I did enjoy reading it though ;-)
